There were several rooms that lined the walls of grand ballroom at Richmond High School. The fifth room was labeled three - one. The persons assigned those numbers would walk into the room where they would walk to the left, three, or the right, one. There was a single chair on each side where the person would sit and face a deep red curtain that covered the whole room. At that time, the curtain opened revealing who Miss Smack had partnered them up with.

Kyosuke slowly combed his hair as he looked at the mirror. Itfs been awhile since he had attended a formal dance, and this seemed like the perfect one to attend. Grabbing his tie, Kyosuke winked at the mirror, and looked for his favorite drink, Blue Hawaii. Finding one, Kyosuke took a quick sip from it, and walked right out of his dorm room door, curious to know who his special valentine of the year was. Kyosuke straightened his tie as he walked right into the ballroom, and proceeded into the room called g3 and 1h. The senior felt an urge to know who his partner was; it just felt so mysterious to him! Was it fear that made him shake? Or was it the adrenaline from excitement? As the curtain that was blocking his view dispersed, Kyosukefs eyes widened quite a bit. hHana?h Kyosuke said, regaining his composure before smiling towards the girl. Even though it was probably luck, the moment had certainly felt like it had been decided by god centuries ago. Chuckling, the boy walked slowly over to Hana. He had been expecting another girl, but Hana was another fantastic choice. Valentines Dance | Clothes

-------------------------------------------------- I couldn't believe that any of this was happening. I was going to attend my first dance ever! And I was even going to have a date! To say that I was nervous was an understatement. I was absolutely petrified. Would my date be nice? What if I wasn't pretty enough for him? It wasn't too hard for me to make friends with strangers, so if it was someone I didn't really know then most likely I would try to get to know them. But what if it was someone I did know? Like Semper? Or maybe even Kyosuke? They were both really cute and they had both been really sweet to me since I had arrived her at Richmond High School. Though there had been some slight drama, I think everything was going to go fine tonight.
The first order of business was to take a shower. After I was done with that, I quickly dried my hair and then took my time to straighten my natural wavy hair so that it hung down long and loose against my back. Taking a little heart shaped clip I pinned some of my hair back so that my face was framed by my bangs. My skin seemed pale, so I pinched my cheeks to make them pink. I guess I really was that nervous. It didn't take me long to do my makeup. Then I went to grab my dress from the closet. After putting it on, I went to put on my set of heart shaped earrings with a matching heart shaped necklace since it was the Valentines Day Dance. That was when I turned to look at the mirror and caught myself by surprise.
I looked beautiful. The light pink silk dress was short and highlighted the length of my legs. From what I had seen of American fashion, short dresses seemed to be the big thing when it came to school dances. The pink brought out the color of her milky white skin and the neckline wasn't too scandalous though it showed a hint of cleavage. All in all, I thought I looked pretty okay for my first dance. The last thing I did before I left was put on my white strappy high heels and then I was off to go see who my date was.
---------------------------------
The decorations were splendid. A bit dark for my tastes but that matched the theme of Valentines Day. It had taken me a little bit longer to get to the dance since I had forgotten the little present that I had made for whomever my date was. It was common in Japan for a girl to give a guy she liked, well in this case my date, chocolate. So in a little white satin bag that was wrapped around my wrist, I had a ball of white chocolate that I had made in Home Economics. The butterflies in my stomach were growing to a crescendo as I walked through the ball room up to the door that had my number on it - Number One. With a shaking hand I opened the door and saw a chair and a red curtain. What the heck? Timidly I walked in my heels towards the chair and sat down to wait until my date was revealed.
When the curtain dispersed I just sat there in shock. Kyosuke? Kyosuke was my date? My cheeks that had been so pale from before were a bright scarlett color as I took in how handsome he looked in his suit. Whomever had partnered them up must have noticed whatever weird feelings were happening between them. With whatever strength I could muster, I stood up from the chair and began to walk towards him. "Uh, hi Kyosuke." I managed to say while my hand shakily brushed a strand of my hair back. This was all so surreal. I just couldn't believe this was all happening.

Kyosukefs heart skipped a beat as he looked at Hana again for the second time. And who said that third time was a charm? Out of all the girls in this school, Hana was the one only girl that probably had made their appearance look like it was rushed in five minutes. It was serious this time instead of a flattering compliment . The dark red room had only made it look like Hana was the main event of the show, her pale white/reddish skin with the pink dress stood out perfectly. What else could anyone else say except that she was a messenger from the gods? Kyosuke owed Miss Smack for this one, even if he did hate her with all of his might. If Kyosuke had known Hana was going to dress like this, then he would have chosen to look less like a butler and more like a prince. All Kyosuke could sum up was that Hana looked beautiful, a princess straight out of a fairytale. And Kyosuke was the phantom, imprisoned by her beauty. hYou look stunningly beautiful Hana, I mean it.h Kyosuke said, walked closer to Hana as he did. Of course, Kyosuke thought it would be nice to try to do something that most boys would not think of in their entire life. Being romantic. Kneeling down, Kyosuke softly lifted Hanafs unused hand towards his face and looked straight at her. hIf I may?h The senior had asked before he softly kissed her hand, letting it go afterwards. hSo, how was your day Hana?h Kyosuke said, still kneeling. Of course, if the phantom was ever going to get the princess to fall in love, hefd always have to steal her away from everybody else, at least, thatfs how Kyosuke was going to do to Hana. Never had I seen such an overly handsome guy before in my life. It was like Kyosuke was my own personal prince brought to life from my deepest fantasies. He kind of reminded me of those really cute guys from the manga I had read back in Japan who the unfortunate plain girl would end up falling in love with. I could totally relate to the plain girls in the manga. It was hard not to fall for a guy who was as sweet and romantic as some of the guys in those Japanese comics that I loved so much. My stomach began to flutter; the mythological butterflies were having a party in there. The blushing in my face only increased as Kyosuke came closer to me. I wasn't entirely sure, but I think I was shaking a wee bit at this point. Why did Miss. Smack have to put me with him? I was going to embarrass myself. I just knew it. I never managed to do well in front of guys that I liked, even if I was mentally prepared for it.
"You look amazing too, Kyosuke." I managed to whisper out; my mind attempting to calm myself down so I wouldn't make a full of myself. If I thought that would work, I was sure as sugar wrong! When Kyosuke knelt down before me I felt myself tense up and my face turn bright red when he kissed her hand. Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness! OH MY GOODNESS! He kissed my hand?! I closed my eyes, trying to pull my thoughts back together. At least he didn't kiss me on the lips. It was just the hand. Only the hand. "My day was fine. I, um, spent most of it making chocolate for my guyfriends back home." The hand that he had held earlier went to untie the small bag I had around my wrist. "I made this one specifically for you, well, my date. I wanted to get it perfect." With that, I held out the bag to him and managed to smile more. "I hope it's okay."

hReally? Thatfs great!h Kyosuke said with his smile as he watched the hand he kissed move towards her other hand, untying what looked like a small bag. What was in it was a mysterious, but it was obviously a valentinefs gift. If it wasnft, well, then Hana was certainly one weird person. Though she continued on, Kyosuke just couldnft keep on smiling. Yeah, he knew he kept on thinking of these words all the time, but this time he really just couldnft help it. hHow cute.h Kyosuke thought to himself as he accepted the valentinefs gift. A few seconds after he felt little reddening to his cheeks, which felt absolutely weird. He had never felt this way before, even before other girls. This was ridiculously preposterous! Yep, the demigod knew what was wrong with him, but he just couldnft say it out loud. Today was Valentinefs Day! He had to keep his composure at least until the dance ended, after that he could ponder all he wanted about the issue. hItfs not okay Hana. It amazing! Never thought about getting one of these from someone at all!h Maybe it was he was happy, or maybe it was because of something else, but Kyosuke guessed that he probably had a stupid grin on his face about right now. Damn. Today turned out to be pretty good, once again, Kyosuke appreciated Mrs. Smack a little bit more than usual. But Kyosuke still needed to repay Hana for the chocolates someday or even today if it was possible. Taking a step back, Kyosuke raised an eyebrow and readjusted his tie. Taking a bow, Kyosuke looked back up and stared at his datefs eyes. Her features once again seemed to have blinded him, but thatfs not the reason why he stepped back. Well, it was called a Valentinefs DANCE for something right? The timing was also perfect for Kyosuke, or at least, in the movies it seemed like a perfect timing. hWould you care for a dance Hana?h Standing up straight once again, Kyosuke gently offered his hand to Hana as he continued to smile at her. Now if they had a nice slow type of music to the mixture, this wouldfve been straight out of a fairytale, but unfortunately, most music at gpartiesh nowadays were fast and hard to understand. Not that Kyosuke loathed them of course, they still offered many perks, like hitting on girls without getting noticed as much. Valentines Dance | Clothes

It was tradition in Japan for girls to give the guys that they were close to or liked chocolate. I had only been able to give chocolates to my father and my brother before, so I had been a tad bit neurotic about making the perfect chocolate for Kyosuke. This was honestly the first time I had ever given anyone else chocolate before. Plus, I really wasn’t expecting to get anything back today. Normally girls got stuff back on March 15th in Japan in response to Valentines Day gifts. I was not too familiar with how Americans celebrated it, though apparently high schools had dances? This was all so confusing. As I looked up at Kyo, I noticed the blushing on his cheeks. Was he just as nervous as me or was there something else that was going through his mind? Curiosity was killing me, but I didn’t want to be like the cat and get run over by something in the end. Gah! My thoughts were running all over the place. This was when I noticed that Kyo had a weird grin on his face. A light giggle escaped my lips. He looked so silly and wondrously cute.
Even though I really didn’t like Miss. Smack, who had called me a whore, I wanted to give her a hug or something for pairing me up with Kyosuke. Sure, it was strange being face to face with him alone, but it was nice. We could be as weird as we wanted without anyone looking. My eyes widened when I heard a rather dirty song playing. It was talking about sex. My poor innocent brain practically imploded. I missed Japanese Pop for a reason. There were very few songs in Japan that mentioned sex and the many different ways to do it. It was rather frightening how different the music here was compared to my homeland’s music. Also the tempo was really fast so I couldn’t really figure out how to dance to it. My cheeks flushed with embarrassment when Kyo asked me to dance. “I’m not really sure how to dance to this type of music, Kyo.” I gently took his hand, and walked closer to him. My eyes widened when Pitbull’s Hotel Room began to play. How would one even dance to such a dirty song?! “Can you show me how one would dance to this?”
